Another first day!

Monday was the girls first day of year one and the first time they would spend most of their days apart! They were fortunate enough to attend a school that allows twins to be together for kindergarten, but they seperate them after that, we had some tears but they both settled in well once they met their teachers and met up with their friends. They were happy they had some close friends from last year with them, just can't get over how fast this past year has gone. Olivia is on the left and Angelica is on the right.

SWEET SUMMERTIME PART II

I am very fortunate to have a wonderful big sister Victoria who loves to have me visit her in the school holidays, She patiently tolerates the chaos i and my six year old twins Olivia and Angelica bring to her home. We were able to share a few days with her and her daughter Isabella at a lovely beach house at Bendalong on the south coast, beautiful weather and lovely beaches,we enjoyed eating alfresco in the lovely garden and visting Victorias friend Jeannie and her family, kids had lots of fun. We then stopped at Bowral for the day and had a walk down memory lane, ( it was home for me and my family for 11 years and i miss it still ) but life is long and there are many paths to walk. had a nice relaxing time at my sisters for a week before we returned back to Griffith. here are some photos of our time.

WOW!!!!! January really flew by. Only 3 days left and we roll into February. This is how i spent my summer break.I spent christmas and new year with my eldest son Stephen and his family at Batemans Bay, so much fun getting to know our new grand daughter Bella Anne!

We also Visisted our other Grand daughter Violet and her mummy Rose and grandpa Pete at Merimbula and we also took the girls to the Bega cheese factory.We had a great time and i celebrated my birthday with Violet and her mummy,spent time at the park with the twins,and was treated to a visit to Mandeni needlework for some birthday gifts by my grand daughter . The girls and Stephen got me a very large book of Jane Austen novels. More of my holiday tomorrow!

Farewell 2011

Well this year just zoomed by for me, a year of highs and lows and self revelations, let me share in photos some of my happy highs for 2011.

We all can have our christmas wish list, whether they are fulfilled or not is another matter, but wishing and dreaming are fun and good for the soul and imagination.  My list is short and sweet and will most likely be filled by me, but why ever not!   So here is  my list.

Getting ready for Santa

Another year and another set of plans and good intentions to be ready for the festive season tried to slip by me again this year,but i have managed just in the nick of time to get this show on the road, I will not let this horriable Mastoiditis stop me from my christmas cheer!. I  have already made and decorated a gingerbread house with my Mother and am so glad for the effort, she so enjoyed it and it was nice to spend an afternoon doing just this one thing together.

Tonight i will decorate a gingerbread sliegh and house with my daughters and grandson. So the list is getting shorter,only 5 gifts left to buy,1 wall hanging to make and cards and gifts to be sent tomorrow, and a little baking on friday and i will be happy enough this year.

Well it's been a while since my last post and a lot has happened and changed and one of those is how i want my blog to be. I ve lived through others for too long and have decided my blog should express what i love and hold dear and above all what delights and inspires me,stay posted and check in on a blog by me!
